Your words, from your homepage

“Transparency. No hidden fees. No surprises. Clear pricing, honest communication.”

— “Our Commitment to You”, truherd.com

The Pricing link on that same page returns a 404.

So does Contact. Both are in your primary navigation. Confirmed twice on separate loads, 7 August 2026.

That gap is the whole review in one line. The standard you set on your own homepage is the right standard — it is higher than most of your category clears. The site just doesn't keep it yet. Nothing here is about the quality of the product you built. It's about what a rancher can actually find, read and trust before they ever see it.

Six stops. Ten minutes if you read all of it, one minute if you only have one.

The review path

Six stops

Each one is a page in this environment. Read them in order or jump.

1

The one minute version

The two dead links, clicked live, next to two working replacements. If you only open one page in this whole environment, open this one. It fits on a phone screen without scrolling.

2

Everything I found

Eight stops through the live site, the beta, the funnel, the App Store listing and a logged-in trial account. Every finding is checkable — nothing here is opinion dressed as fact.

3

The front door, rebuilt

Your homepage with escrow and TruShield promoted into the hero instead of buried in a feature grid, plus the pricing page your nav has been promising and a demo request form that exists. Then the pages a buyer would land on — a species page and a listing page a search engine could actually reach, both marked Concept.

4

Inside the product

The screens a paying rancher actually uses, rebuilt from a logged-in trial tenant: day one on a fourteen-day clock, the animal record and the Lineage panel that's already built and empty, and the two different things you call verification — which is the most consequential thing I found anywhere in this review.

5

The honesty ledger

Every element of the platform, sorted into four labels: live today, verify first, concept, demo data. It's the most useful page here and the least comfortable. That's the point of paying someone from outside to look.

6

The order I'd do it in

Phase 1 is the front door and the records product — the part that can be fixed by building. Phase 2 is the marketplace, and it names the supply problem out loud instead of designing around it. The one-pager is the printable version.

Two things this review is not

It's not a critique of the build.

The records product is real and it works — animals, transfers, entity hierarchy, tag readers, trial and billing. The ledger says so, row by row. Every problem on this site sits in front of the product, not inside it.

It's not a plan to build your marketplace.

No vendor can create supply. Getting breeders to list real animals is founder work, and it stays yours. What I can build is everything that makes a listing worth clicking once you have one.
