Inside the product
Give buyers two clear verification states
Business identity and animal lineage answer different questions. Name both wherever buyers decide. The homepage promises genetic-claim badges, while onboarding requires verification. Without separate names, buyers can read a business check as confirmation of an animal’s genetics.
A · Seller verification
Entities
Legal or non-legal business structures that own operations and their animals.
Trial tenant, 7 August 2026: seller verification gates marketplace access and checks business identity.
B · Animal verification
A live public listing
Details redrawn — the real listing names a real seller
Listing
| Status | Publicly listed, price and deposit shown |
| Verification on the card | None, of either kind |
Lineage · TruShield
| Sire | Partial · Claimed — “manually entered” |
| Dam | Partial · Claimed — “manually entered” |
Public marketplace, latest check: all 14 parent links read “Claimed”; five of 12 listings had no lineage. Listing does not require documented lineage.
Two names, two states
Seller verified
Business identity confirmed. Live today — enforced in the 7 August trial.
Lineage documented
Certificates attached to the animal. Verify first — nothing beyond “Claimed” observed at our latest check.
Show both on cards, including “no lineage on file”, so buyers do not have to open a listing and expand its lineage panel to understand its status.
